Andrew Martinez was born and raised in South Texas. He graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Political Science. He continued his education and earned a law degree from South Texas College of Law in 2012. While pursuing his law degree, he completed a semester in Santiago, Chile through the California Western School of Law. Throughout law school, Andrew held various clerkships, including with the First Court of Appeals of Texas in Houston and the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office.


The first two years of his career he practiced mainly in the area of criminal defense, defending citizens accused of crimes. Since then, Andrew devotes his practice to defending businesses and individuals facing litigation. He has experience in defending clients in personal injury, premises liability, and other types of civil suits. Andrew enjoys defending lawsuits in different venues throughout the state of Texas – including adverse jurisdictions.


Andrew is an active member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Houston and a volunteer at Houston’s Christian Community Service Center. On his free time he enjoys reading, playing basketball and spending time with his wonderful wife and Miniature Schnauzer.
